Monthly Maintenance Fees are charged to maintain your account with us. Our fees are based on what we believe is the fair value of the service we are providing in today’s marketplace.

Ways you can manage your cash flow better
- Get important Alerts or notifications about account information via email or text message on your computer or wireless device* to help you make smarter spending decisions (requires Online Banking):
- Set Low Balance Alerts at an amount above the minimum balance requirement on your account to provide yourself enough time to transfer or deposit additional funds before your balance goes below the minimum balance requirement and you incur a fee.
- o Set Account Has Insufficient Funds Alert to get faster notification that your account has a $0 or negative balance (has an overdraft) vs. the paper-based notification sent through standard USPS - helping you avoid additional fees.
- Use Mobile Banking to manage your account no matter where (or when) and access our GPS enabled ATM/Branch locator with Google maps and directions.*
- Instant access to balance and latest transaction overview
- Transfer funds between BAC accounts
- Enroll in Small Business Online Banking to conveniently monitor your account balance and track spending.

Change to Overdraft Item Fee
We do not charge the Overdraft Item Fee on your account when we determine that your account is overdrawn by a total amount less than $10.00 after we finish processing for the day. Please note: When we determine that your account is overdrawn by a total amount of $10.00 or more, the $35.00 Overdraft Item Fee continues to apply to each overdraft item. The $35.00 NSF: Returned Item Fee still applies to each item we decline or return unpaid, regardless of your account balance. Additionally, if your account remains overdrawn for 5 or more consecutive business days, you will also incur a $35.00 Extended Overdrawn Balance Charge.

What’s Changing and When
Effective October 19, 2009, when your account is overdrawn by a total amount less than $10, rather than being charged the standard $35 Overdraft Fee, you will not be charged a fee for each overdraft item that day. Returned Item Fee still applies. We also reduced the number of overdraft item fees and NSF returned item fees you can get each day from 10 to 4. Fee applies to each overdraft item and each NSF returned item with no more than 4 items charged each day.

Overdraft (OD) Item Fee occurs when we pay a check or other withdrawal even though you don’t have enough available funds in your account to cover these transactions.
NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds): Returned Item Fee occurs when you do not have enough available funds in your account to cover a check or other item, and Bank of America decides not to pay the check or other item and to return it to the payee.

How to help prevent this fee
Sign up for Overdraft Protection Service in order to help you prevent returned checks and overdrafts on your business checking account.
- With overdraft protection, available funds from your linked business savings or credit card account are automatically transferred to your business checking when you do not have enough available funds in your checking account to cover a check or other items.
- There is no cost to set up overdraft protection, however transfer and other fees may apply.

Extended Overdrawn Balance Charge is charged if your account continues to be overdrawn for 5 consecutive business days. For each time your account is overdrawn 5 or more consecutive business days, we charge one Extended Overdrawn Balance Charge.
How to help prevent this fee
If you overdraw your account, repay the amount you are overdrawn as quickly as possible and prior to the fifth business day you are overdrawn
