Help ease your mind. Help prevent declined
transactions and save on overdraft fees.
Watch our video to learn how to help avoid overdrafts.
How it works:
- Overdraft Protection links your eligible checking account with another Bank of America account such as a savings account, a second eligible checking account or even a credit card1
- Available funds are automatically transferred to cover overdrafts from your account, provided you have sufficient funds available in the linked account
- There is no cost to enroll. The $12 Overdraft Protection Transfer Fee only applies if the transfer is made.
- There is no Overdraft Protection Transfer Fee for Bank of America Advantage Relationship Banking® and Advantage with Tiered Interest Checking, as well as for Preferred Rewards members.
